The amount of options you have to choose from to lose weight, build muscle, and improve your overall health which can sometimes be overwhelming. You can see that by just searching on Facebook or Instagram with the keyword fitness. With all these programs, you have just one question to answer.


“What’s the best for me?”

One option that will help you decide is working with a personal trainer. Even if you're utilizing group training, getting some personal training is a great idea! Here are 4 reasons you should consider one on one coaching;


  1. YOUR GOALS ONLY- Who knows what results you’re looking for better than you? You know how you want to feel, look, and move better than anyone else. A goal of a personal trainer is to take the information you give to build a program to get you there. Your coach is responsible for this roadmap and all you’re responsible for is showing up and working hard.

  2. KEEPING YOU ACCOUNTABLE- If you’re exercising at home or in a group, skipping a day or 5 when inconveniences happen is way easier to do. You are much more likely to follow through with plans when the alternative is letting others down. If you sleep in or miss a day, you might not get a call from your gym owner. Your personal coach will!

  3. FEEDBACK, FEEDBACK, FEEDBACK- All these options to get healthy can stop people from starting at all because they just don’t know where to start. However, when training with a personal trainer/coach you receive instant feedback on moving properly, eating properly, and recovering properly. No more worrying about doing something wrong, no more worrying if the food you eat is right, instead your trainer/coach is there to help you every step of the way.

  4. Time- Life is all about time and making decisions of how to use it. Getting a personal coach allows you to pick when you schedule your 30 min to an hour of amazing exercise. Finding a coach that fits your schedule as well as your goals will make your time allocated work for you.
